Charlie Veitch is a spiritual twin of mine.
From his days in corporate finance to his days on the streets hugging policemen to this angry rant, his trajectory has contained almost all the elements of my own, post alcohol and drugs, of course.

I love him to death for the animating spirit within him which just will not shut up.

From the embedded clip I can take away a most important underlining of a principle: If it doesn't make you angry - spitting, hissing, fucking angry - at some point, then you certainly have a way to go to get to the stage where you are actually paying attention.
