O Regina, in tempesta
Nocte in violarium Nec impius, nec malus.
O Dea Noctu, Imperatrix
Ex stella humen et fascinum.
Postquam luscinia, gratus semen
Scipio rigidus, liquor nocturnus.
Saga de bestia fiera Saga vipera et fulmen.
Carmen ventosus fascinare
Ad hunam in diem vivere
Et tamen non, insomnium.

On Saturday, the great aerial birdy display.
On Sunday, a first visit from a Green Wood Hoopoe.
On Monday, as I was waiting for Warren to bring the chariot to take me home and re-membering both of those, a single white feather floated down from the entrance roof and landed right beside me.
Of course I picked it up and took it home.
So on Tuesday, when by evening no further Birdy Signs had manifested themselves, I took it upon myself to Sit before an East-facing altar, burn some incense and light some candles, and see what happened.
I usually enter meditation by drawing energy up through my chakras from base to crown, then down from the top. So this time I did something different - I drew up energy from the earth through my base chakra as far as my heart (I actually almost stopped at the solar plexus, but an imbalance made me carry on up to the heart), then down through the crown to the heart again.
Then I drew both at once-up and down, meeting and mingling at the heart chakra.
I felt an almost immediate explosion of warmth and power - very near, very immanent, unlike most connections in meditation which feel a bit more distant. It was as if the entire circle, complete with elementals, collapsed onto and through me.
In this state I communicated closely with Her Birdiness.
The chevron of Her beak, the strength of Her pinions, the tender rapaciousness of Her golden eyes.
And I slept the deepest, most refreshing sleep I have slept for a while now.
A very happy Time of Balance to all - whether you celebrate Ostara or, like me, Mabon at this time.
Actually, I haven't been considering celebrating anything lately.
ReplyDeleteBut it's laundry day, guess I could celebrate clean shorts.
